Blue Sky Journeys Reviews

I just wanted to make consumers as well as potential employees of the travel agency Blue Sky Journeys, aware of their bad business. I urge anyone doing business with them or potentially employed by them to research the owners CRIMINAL backgrounds. As well as mention that i have been made aware that to get their clients free gifts they call the place of travel and act like the client is unhappy to receive some sort of complimentary gift, and then claim its a gift from them to their client. Also i cant find any info on them with the better business bureau. Maybe not as magical as they appear.

This “complaint” is completely false. I would like to know specifically what “bad business” anyone has ever received from any one in our organization. We do act on our client’s behalf when they have an issue with anything that goes wrong on their vacation. We lobby with the resort to provide “Disney magic” which Disney Cast Members are trained to do. The policy with Disney is called “Immediate Guest Recovery” and the resort will often do things to make the client happy. When these occasions occur (which is rare), we notify the clients of what the resort has promised they will do and then follow up with duty manager of the resort to make sure the complaint has been taken care of. As far as gifts from our agency – We DO provide little gifts to be waiting in their rooms that are shipped directly from us to their resort to be left for them by the concierge desk. These gifts are extra things we do to make our clients happy and are in no way connected with the resort other than having their employees take them to the room. I would venture to say that this is from an employee that is disgruntled with being let go and is trying to tarnish our reputation. Evidence of this is that they will not identify themselves and they cannot offer a specific example of a “complaint” they or another client may have had. Please take this into consideration as you read this review.

Note to moderator of this site – Until anything is substantiated in regards to these claims, I demand that this review be removed from your listing. That and I demand to know who is making slanderous reviews about our company as this could very easily become a legal issue with all who are involved from the original post to those who allow unsubstantiated claims that can tarnish or otherwise cause problems with our business. Per this site’s terms of making a complaint – “Once we receive you complaint, we will review, edit (if needed) and publish only VALID/UNIQUE complaints, that haven’t been published before very same day.”

    Thank you,
John Swoap – owner & partner

I would also like to take note that I could just as easily post defamatory comments about anyone on here without repercussions.

Who ever wrote this better get their stories straight!! If you are some idiot who is so upset because we can continue to give GREAT OUTSTANDING service WITHOUT YOU… then you need to find some other place to act like a child with your complete LIES about a great company!!
We have many clients who will speak on our behalf… funny you may have nothing to do with your time now….so you find time for foolish statements like the above!!

Watch yourself…. Better business bureau just may be on to YOU!!

This is a totally invalidated complaint. As an employee of Blue Sky Journeys for a year now I can honestly say that I have NEVER heard of such a policy. Most clients are sent complimentary gifts by the agents themselves and if a gift was ever received from the Resort for poor service then believe me the Blue Sky Journeys agent who booked it was the reason the client received it. I am sure no agent would not pass the gift off as being from themselves, but unless the agent stepped in after receiving the complaint then the complimentary gift may not have been offered by the Resort.

The person who posted this complaint must be a very unhappy person. I also do not believe the complainant is a former client otherwise they would have indicated more information about their experience with our company. We have many agents and therefore many clients and our testimonials speak for themselves. We all work very hard to satisfy our clients and would hope that anyone that is unsatisfied would contact our company. I urge any prospective client to contact any of us for additional information rather than take the word of an anonymous person.

I am not sure how I even came across this comment while i was searching Disney agent information but when I saw it I wanted to comment as well. In several of the comments/replies it was stated that this must have been posted by a former agent with BSJ…. I wanted it stated for the record of any kind, that I was not involved in any slanderous remarks against this company. Being a former agent, I no longer work with them as to work on my own agency…would like to say they do take care of all of their guests. The owners have worked hard to build their company to where they are and it really is sad when someone has to try to create BS.
Since there are so many Disney travel agents, people will always have a choice… There is no reason at all to try to knock people down like this. I have and always will continue to wish them nothing but the best.

Keep your eyes and ears on the news in the next few days and weeks as to what is happening down at the Magic Kingdom as I type to see if this warning is unfounded…

You want evidence? Talk to Ann Caroll School of Dance. Ask her how Blue Sky treated them. Not so good. :(

The married couple who so selfishly run this business while pretending to care about there customers needs should be closed down ASAP. John & Melanie are nothing more than well dressed and polite scam artist. There past is VERY shady and they continue at every opportunity to “steal” there customers funds. This is NOT a business to do business with.

If they cheated these dancers out of all that money, I hope they get thrown in jail and then everyone will realize that evidently the original poster was on to something. Good for them.
